M + O is closing!

I have 2 things to tell you about here:

1. Here's the practical here to go to the M+O website. Everything is an additional 50% off the marked price! In the Atlanta area, the Perimeter location is closing 7/25/10, and you can get 50% off everything in the store. These are the most comfortable jeans I've ever bought and it's truly heartbreaking for me to say good bye!

2. Here's the sappy part...the closing of this store is also heartbreaking for me because it is where I met the love of my life! I worked part-time at M+O for around 3 months over the winter of '08-'09. One day this mysterious and very well-dressed, sexy guy walked into my store and never left my heart. Luckily, he was a student at the school I work for and we began the dance of getting to know each other (
10 months before we ever had our first date!).

What are you interested in?

I have been planning to get myself more invested in the social networking game for awhile, but for various reasons I have not made it a priority. Well, I have finally decided that enough is enough and I am ready! I will be regularly adding to my blog, tweeting more frequently on Twitter (melodious82) and continuing my already-overboard Facebook addiction. If you are interested in what I have to say or if you have a friend who might be interested, I'd love to network with you! Also, if you have anything you'd like to suggest to me, please do so. Here are my general interests and what I plan to discuss here: health, entertainment, things I'm learning, personality types, self-care, love, food laws, recipes, sugar-free, creativity, wellness coaching, travel, lolcats, funny stuff, etc. That's what I have so far and will probably expand that list as I get going!

"I love a warm pig belly for my aching feet."

I loved it!! I have seen the movie twice so far! I think everyone should go see it in 3-D IMAX - except if you're going at 9:30pm and bringing children under the age of 10! I was appalled that parents had their young children (like, 4-year-olds) out that late, and for a movie with such scare potential. Seriously, I was terrified of the Jabberwocky as a child, and I only saw part of it walk by. Not to mention that this was an old live version. I would have died in the theater if I saw today's version as a child!

Anyway, I'm off my soapbox now. I thought it was amazing, and I would now like to have my own Bandersnatch.

So much has changed since my last post, and I'm sorry it has taken me this long to post anything!!

Here's a brief update of what has happened since November:

-I began dating the love of my life, Derek, on November 15, 2009, and it has been the most exciting four months!

-I took my first life coaching class in the winter quarter of 2010.

-I moved across Atlanta.

-It snowed enough this winter on three different occasions for work to be canceled!

-I saw my first snowman! And then I saw 8 more the same day...

-One of my best friends got married!! (Congrats Olivia and Ty!)

It has been a cold, but very good, winter and I will have great memories from this time! However, I am completely ecstatic for spring to be just around the corner!!!
